I guess there are a few different rack and floor models. Anyone ever notice that theirs makes a quiet crackly or fizzy type sound?

I noticed this makes a sound. I tried to attach a short video clip. When I recorded this, it was 2am, so dead quiet, that’s how I was able to capture it in video.

-looks like the video didn’t work and just an image from the video can be seen.

Thanks

I had the Furman P-1800 PF-R power factor rackmount, it was dead silent but it also had a 5A current draw at all times even with nothing plugged in. I replaced it with the Black Lion Audio rackmounted power conditioner/voltage regulator and it's been great.

so the unit itself is making noise (physically) with nothing plugged in to it?

The unit itself makes a quiet fixzy sound occasionally. (I have a short video of anyone wants to hear it) Some gear is plugged into it, but it’s not coming out of the speakers. I noticed it at 2 in the morning when the world was quiet.

I have sent furman a few messages and still no response.
