whats your vid recording setup? You taking audio straight from the camera??!?

I am miking and recording the cabinet separately .... straight into Logic on my MAC. Mic > API pre > Apogee Converter > MAC. Video and audio are synced afterward ... the audio straight from the mic is always a bit more difficult to deal with unless you have excellent mics hooked into the camera ...

I especially like the licks from after .20 to around .27 seconds.

Do those style of licks have names..or is it just string skipping, and could you suggest some songs to learn some licks like that ?

I think you are referring to the "hybrid picking / string skipping" technique ... honestly, that is a newer thing I picked up from listening to musicians like Guthrie Govan. For that matter, I've seen some awesome videos from Andy Wood using that technique as well ... both those guys have a good handle on using that kind of technique in a rock setting. I know the Nashville players are true masters of that style .... guys like Brett Mason. You can check all three of those players out to hear it done really well!
