Yeah. These prices are crazy. I don’t care what anyone says. I had one. Sounded great, but wasn’t 12-13k great. No way. Not even close.
I love Mesa and always will. I had an early Dual Rec that I played so many gigs with in the 90’s. I honestly thought that amp shit all over my 2 C+. The DR was HUGE sounding. So fun to play.

Slightly off topic, but has anyone played the 60watt, 100, and 200w versions of the 2C? Seems like everyone listing them wants 10k despite the variances in transformers and wattage. One would imagine they sound/feel pretty different.

Couldn’t sell mine fast enough even after a retube. My MM loaded 5150 II just sounded better IMO. I had an early 94 Tremoverb with a MIII style output transformer.

With how they’re voiced I imagine the 60W can crank and get more gain at reasonable levels. That said I’d want at least a 100W to run through two 4x12s.
