Thinking of getting a rackmount multifx...don't want eventide, because I need stability, ease of use, flexibility and speed (patch change-wise..). The one thing I worry about when considering the g force is pitch shift. I dont need all that intelligent pich shift stuff. I need the whammy function. I use the 1 oct up setting a lot, and I need the unit to not get confused when playing more than one note at once. I like playing arpeggios and chords with the 1 oct up, and some pitchshifters get confused and start "searching" for the note to play. The digitech whammy, however, doesnt. How is the G force in that respect?

Just to mention it, I know that eventide are best when it comes to pitch shift. I also know that axefx is good. I am thinking of getting an axefx when I can afford one. But for know, I'm thinking of getting the g force second hand, coz I cant afford anything more expensive right now.

Hmmm...If I remember correctly, you can set the G-Force to do intelligent shifting or specific intervals. I'll double check mine tonight.

Hi. I know you can =) That's not what I'm worrying about, because I'm not going to use it as a harmonizer, just whammy. What I need to know is how it responds to chords and arpeggios when you set it to one octave up, and 100% wet signal, just like a digitech whammy. It doesnt need to sound all natural, it's supposed to sound a bit digital and glitchy, but if it starts searching for the right note to play because it gets confused when more than one note is played, it's useless to me. That's what I'm asking. That is, of course, not something the manual would mention. I'd love it if you'd check that out on yours! Thanks!
