so after some debate, i pulled the trigger on a g major 2 as my rack fx unit.just got off the road tonite and picked it up.running it thru the fx loop of the chupa and went thru a cpl presets just to get an idea.

first thing i noticed is,my MV on the chupa is pretty much all but disengaged.turned volume up til noon and only a slight volume change.had a low volume guitar sound that was really great.
anyone know why this happened?it really seems like the volume is buffered or something.idk!
i'm clueless at fx really.pretty much an amp/guitar guy,
of course TCs fx are great sounding and will dig deeper in the next few days.

will be running in series.about as far as i got.

any basic tips are appreciated.

make sure you switch it to consumer mode and then really mess with all the volume settings

The loop in the Chupa is just a plain ol insert type loop and those are pretty lousy. You will probably really have to do some tweaking to get it to sound decent or use some kind of a buffer possibly, not sure what the G Major 2 has...compounding the problem is the Jose Master which doesn't work the same as a traditional master so it can be even tougher to dial in.

hmm,i kinda like tho.i will play around today and change to consumer mode.

as of right now,the GM2 is for home use til i get a grasp on things and get a switching system in place.so that gives me til prolly spring to get my head around all the goodies.

when i go ta a jam,the Chupa will be used with my pedalboard.

i will check into buffers this weekend tho.

thx.

switched from pro to consumer/problem solved.

thank you!
