Great guy with a great attitude towards life and music. I had a blast interviewing him. Cool moment in the ful linteview: Gary is talking about a time when he was going to share the stage with Steve Vai, one of GH's heroes. Gary said, "Man, I can't believe I get to be on stage with you....you're Steve Vai...the Steve Vai!. Vai says, "Yeah, and I get to be on stage with you...you're Gary Hoey!" I thought the sentiment of mutual respect was nice between the two....any way....here's the clip:
