Try to find a Rockman Guitar Monitor. It's a 500 watt Guitar Stack using either the Rockmodules or Rockman XPR. I think SR&D made around 50.

A picture is worth a thousand words:

For me, it was the EMB Audio Remote Wah. It is the wah used by Steve Vai on Passion & Warfare and everything live until 1993 or so. Slash used it on Civil War and live until 1993 too. Kirk Hammett used them live from 1991-2003. It is such a unique sound that Ioved even before playing guitar, but listening to Vai and Slash use it I was drawn to it. Fast forward a few years and I buy my first wah pedal, a Dunlop 535Q (original version). It was and is a great wah....but not what I was looking for and quickly learned that! haha....So I began to search for the EMB Audio Remote Wah but it seemed like I would run into Bigfoot before even locating a wah. Finally after about 10 years, I found one! Bought it quickly and then about a year or 2 later I found another in Japan. That was the result of many many many years of searching and asking around but it paid off. Fast forward to just a few years ago and I located the original builder! We then decided to work together and release brand new Wah pedals. Crazy crazy turn of events.

We are currently working on the latest prototype :)

Been waiting on this one.

It took me 2 years of regular checking to find a first series of the Vox Chinese handwired AC30 heads. It's the version with an EF86 channel that has a bass voicing switch and pentode to triode choices on the EF86 and the power section. I couldn't believe how one would never be available on either E-bay or craigslist. I don't consider it a holy grail amp, I just liked it a lot and preferred it over the 2nd gen one.

for me it has to be a john sykes les paul ( just to try it ) lol
a soldano slo , would love to spend some time with one . and my fortin modded marshall mike has ..

My vox ac50 and fender brown super both took me a while to find, but both are great amps. Currently trying to get the frying bacon sound out of the super though :(

I have been waiting for the perfect original Mockingbird to come around. I find them but I never find the one I want.

That and I really would love to own an Ibanez V.

Awesome story! I remember a guy from the HC forums several years ago that had a couple of these and I'm assuming that was you. Love the wah tone Vai and Slash had back in the day. Nice to hear you're capturing the sound for others to use! If you need a tester....

Quite literally nothing. I would like to try a Wirebird Contour really badly, but I honestly can't think of anything else at the moment.

My old Kramer Nightswan with lightening bolt graphics!

Yuuuuup. I actually now own the very wah that Steve Vai used on Passion and Warfare =)

I would love to own one of these. Alas...hard to find and usually come around when I have no $$.

It's hard to find nice acoustics. I've been wanting a Lowden, but seeing the right one pop up is really rare. I've only seen a handful on TGP in the past recent years.

I spent a bunch of years looking for a Gibson that had a serial number stamped on the day I was born. I found one after 5-7 years of searching.

Mine would be my Pre 500 Dual Rectifier (serial #98). I came across it by accident on my local craigslist. They are getting more and more sought after, and more expensive.

Secondly, my Friedman Kitchen Sink modified 76' Marshall JMP. It's the best sounding amp I've ever owned. Anyone can get their amp modded by Dave, but it was my gail amp, and they don't seem to be floating around in mass quantities.

I had one too! I foolishly sold it back in probably 1994.

^ supposedly the same as a Mesa Boogie 90 watt Black Shadow if that helps make it less rare...
