Most dealers have been charging a premium for these for quite some time due to the Rhoads connection. Expect to pay $4--$5K for a nice, unmolested one. I've had a few over the years but never one that was a "keeper" from a feel/tone standpoint. You really have to sort through a bunch of Norlin LPs to find the magic ones.

cupboard is bare at the moment but i have had some tasty 20th anniversary 1974 Les Paul Customs in White/Cream over the years. Will keep my ear to the ground for you.

Good luck V, You'll find one!! Cool guitars BTW!! Does sound like a good project for King Guitars!

Yep, and I've been sortin' for a couple years now... Hence the reason I thought I'd throw it out here and see what came back.

Thanks man... And I'm good for it coin-wise, that's not the problem. The problem is, it has to be in DAMN fine shape with ALL original parts. Fret wear at a bare minimum (hence the damn fine shape), electronics not rusted to shit, no scratching with the controls/toggles... Basically, someone who had it and babied it or barely played it who wants money now instead.

As for the white tuning to yellow, um, that's just part of the aging process - I have zero problemo with that. And the reason I want white (yellow??) is strictly due to the fact I don't have a white one :dunno: and I'm a Lester fanboi :D
