GCX ground link used with axe fx?

do I still need this if I'm going to eventually use the axe fx only? (with and without an amp) I already sold the gcx loop brain, all I have left is the ground control and ground link

the ground link would punch in and out effects that were in the gcx loops

just seeing if I should get rid of it or if it has other possibilities that I don't know about

Oh, I'd buy the ground link from you, But you wont need it if you are not punching in fx on a certain patch when needed, just having a patch with the desired fx on.

The ground control would work with the axe to change blocks. the ground link wouldn't work with the axe.
