Gear pare down - looking for advice on an amp

I'm playing way less than I ever have before, and I have been slowly paring down gear & down selecting. Been trying to optimize & get the best out of gear that I have already, rather than chasing that next best incremental improvement. Sold off some of my gear and will be moving more. But we all know GAS sucks.
Amp wise I have been offered a trade that has me curious - wanted to solicit your guys input.

I have a shot at a CAA PT100 (the older one, not the Suhr). Looks to be in great shape. No footswitch.
I know build wise, John & CAA make (made?) great stuff.

Would it be worth replacing my ENGL Artist or Marshall 2555SL Slash with the PT100? I have heard they can be a bit flubby in the low end. I had a Suhr modded Marshall WAY back that I never should have sold (gear flipping days). Never had the flubby issue with it, and it was along the lines of an Aldrich mod. Would the PT100 get me back to that tone?

I play along the style of 80's metal (think Sykes, Norum, Aldrich, Lynch, occasionally as heavy as older Vicious Rumors). Currently have different amps for my level of heaviness I want that day - an OG Peavey 5150 2x12 combo, Marshall 2555SL Slash, ENGL fireball 25, and ENGL Artist 100.

Thanks for any input.

I don't know man, the Artist and Jube can hang with anything. But the Artist is the easiest to replace if you regret it so there is that.

Man, you have some great amps. My ears perk up on anything CAA/Suhr. But, in this case, do you think it would be overlap with your existing amps?

The only plus I can think of for pulling the trigger is possibly the clean channel on the PT, which I have heard is excellent.

But you can’t go wrong either way.

Thanks. Yeah - I was wondering if it is just overlap, or a totally different flavor.
Hell - Reb gets a killer tone out of his
