I just called customer relations at genzbenz.com and the support guy said that Genz Benz stopped making their products about 2 years ago. I have their GFlex 212 cab that totally kicks ass for hard rock and metal (it's ported!) and am going to install Mesa casters on it tonite...

Although I saw this coming as nobody even talked about their amps and I had that Diablo (??? i think is the name??) and didn't like it much.

Not really surprised
Those G-Flex cabs are the only products they made that had good reviews

I have a GB acoustic mini amp that excels at what it does, unbelievably small loud and great sounding. Too bad about the company

Not surprised, the gflex cabs are the only thing that seemed to be popular. The guitar amp market is extremely crowded, I wonder how a lot of companies stay in business frankly....

Love my G-Flex. Heard good things about the Black Pearl

Wow. Surprised. G-flex is a great cab. I didn't mind the el diablo.

The g-flex was one of the few pieces of gear with which I regret parting ways...I think I traded it on a Mesa 412 and have since downsized back to 212.

Someone else should start making the G-Flex cab now

I did some research a few months ago as I wanted to get a Diablo combo or head.
It seems Fender bought out what was left of Genz Benz.
I found a brand new Diablo combo and head, and was told that it does have the manufactures warranty, and it would be serviced by Fender. Contacted Fender and they said, yes, they would cover it.
Give Fender a call and see if they can help, if you still have warranty. Let us know if they do help.

And soon after Fender acquired Genz Benz they released the Machete amp.
Fender never had a really high gain amp, that's not their thing.
But that Machete sure sounds a lot like a Diablo.
If you can't design it, but it, then tweak and release.
GB also made the Black Pearl amp, and it was highly rated but not many takers.

The Machete didn't do so well for Fender, cause Fender amp fans don't think HIGH gain when considering a Fender.
BTW, I really like my Fender Hot Rod DLX3. I've been really enjoying it this past month, awesome clean tones, and it LOVES pedals.
