Please let us know what gear is used. Enjoy dudes.

He played his ESP guitars. Well, 4 of them were the stores and he brought that one beat up ESP strat with him that ESP sells. He played the Lynch Box. He jammed to a bunch of backing tracks, told a few stories, answered questions.

He told a few stories about how obnoxious Zakk Wylde is, and sounds like he's drunk 24/7. George was at the VH show where Dave told Zakk to "Get the fuck off thre stage". Zakk was actually really pissed off about that according to George.

Ivan had his video recorder going the whole time. I wasn't too crazy about his tone though. I don't know, it just sounded dull to me, it sounded almost like he had his tone control on his guitar rolled off the whole time even though his leads still sound very bright on the upper strings. And he's getting really attached to his wah pedal The whole time i just wished he was plugged into his purple Marshall. But it was fun overall and nice to see him jam in a small setting.

Ive met George 4 times and all 4 times it was enough for me to just realize I should just enjoy his playing because I think he is a tool as a person. I don't say this litely either. All 4 times I have met him were less the memorable and they guy is defintely burnt out from previous drug use.

The guy is a monster player, but for some reason I just cant get into him. I've always thought his tone sucks and he doesn't come across as really worth a shit as a person. I mean, I've seen him three times and 2 of the three gigs I've seen him just being a total cock to his guitar tech. (like throwing guitars and shit at him).

Michael Angelo was a bit pasty and is incredibly fast, but his clinic is to be expected as a wank fest. However, he was a cool guy and really treated the kids well. Marty Friedman was much more of a gentleman (even though he threw a little hissy fit in Tulsa), Warren DeMartini was an absolute gentleman, and Zakk was buying guys drinks. Of course Zakk kept yelling "lets get fucked up" and that got a little annoying, but those guys all really did a good job at teaching and answering their questions. I'll pass on a lynch clinic

He was clearly making fun of G3 after someone asked him why he was never on that bill. He said, he likes to play songs and likes to hear players who play songs. I felt like saying that the last time i was at G3 that i heard plenty of songs. He said if he was going to do something like that it would be be with guys like Slash and Zakk. I don't know, can someone tell me what band George was in that comes close to Ozzy or GNR? It can't be Dokken since George basically said he hated every minute in Dokken and he also said he thought the 80's were the worst period of time for music. He also didn't hide the fact that he hates Don. I have always loved his playing but i sensed a lot of bitterness from the guy.
