DESCRIPTION:
1 of only 200 made; however, roughly 50 units were destroyed in the Tennessee floods that rocked Gibson’s factory back when these were being manufactured. Thus, the number of units is down to actually around 150.

This extremely rare, iconic Explorer is recognized for being the same model played by Chad Kroeger of Nickelback around 2010-2011.

Specs:
• Body wood: mahogany
• Body finish: gloss black
• Scale length: 629mm (24.75”)
• Neck construction: set-neck
• Neck wood: 1-piece mahogany
• Neck finish: gloss black
• Neck profile: Gibson Explorer profile
• Fretboard wood: rosewood
• Fretboard radius: 305mm (12”)
• Fretboard markers: none
• Fret number: 22
• Pickups: EMG 81-7 (bridge) and EMG 707 (neck)
• Controls: 3-way pickup selector toggle, volume knob (bridge pickup), volume knob (neck pickup), tone knob
• Bridge: Gibson Tune-O-Matic
• Tuners: Graph Tech Ratio locking tuners
• Nut: Corian

The original Gibson hardcase from the factory is included in the sale.

The original black pickguard from the factory is included in the sale along with a custom-cut, white pickguard that has been installed (as you can see in the photos).

The stock, chrome Grover mini tuners that were originally installed on this guitar have been replaced with a set of black Graph Tech Ratio locking tuners. The Grover mini tuners will be included in the sale.

CONDITION:
This guitar is in fairly wonderful condition for its age minus some obvious cosmetic signs of heavy playwear such as dings around the body (mainly the edges of the body) as well as some dings on the back of the headstock going up to the tip headstock. The original screw holes for the Grover mini tuners were left exposed after the tuner swap was done; and the gloss clear coat is "lifting" underneath the washers of the high E-string and high B-string tuners.

PRICE:
$6,000 OBO + shipping

LOCATION:
East Coast, USA.

I can work with interested buyers on all shipping concerns domestically or internationally.

The guitar has been restored entirely to stock specs as it was when it left the factory. The original pickguard has been put back on; and the original Grover tuners have been reinstalled. (The Graph Tech Ratio locking tuners will still be included in the sale.) Most of the cosmetic blemishes or defects have been touched-up; and all potential qualms about the guitar have been totally addressed.

I'm willing to negotiate pretty hard to get this guitar sold as soon as possible.
