I've had a few of those pass through my hands over the years...every one was an absolute pig (they were all 12+ pounds). That said, they all played fine and sounded good for heavy/distorted material, but not so much for classic sounding clean and overdrive tones (Dirty Fingers aren't great clean pickups unless they're split, which I don't recall being an option on the E2).

Those are cool looking. I used to play an Explorer type guitar for the longest. I loved the neck on the guitar, but that lower extended bought made me feel like I was playing with a huge hard-on. I'm only used to playing with a very small hard-on, so it freaked me out!
