Gibson guys. Tell me about these govt issue Les Pauls

My other guitarist has one and though it plays good it just looks cheap to me.

What's the value on these things and what are these dirty finger pickups about? I thought they sounded like crap but I didn't wanna insult the guy

I've never heard of this one until now. Just looked it up on Gibson's website. I can't believe how many different LP models they make now.

i like the dirty fingers pickups i have them in two Gibsons. they are really hot, but they are nice and kind of thrashy. those guitars don't see a lot of daylight though. i haven't played with them in a while.
