The Gibson Les Paul Std 60's "Double Trouble" limited edition is a beast. And it's gorgeous! Normally I insist on a cherry mahogany back for a sunburst, but this clear mahogany back, sides and neck are gorgeous to look at. And those pickups! Thanks so much to my local music store, Earle Teat Music in Delmar, DE, for letting me take this home for a week so that I could share it with you!
Enjoy your week and "Celebrate Mediocrity" with me!

That Dsl sounds pretty darn good here.. a bit flabby on neck pups, but sounds solid with bridge pups.

Not having the cherry red aniline dye on a cherry sunburst is a deal breaker for me when I looked at the double trouble.

Not seeing any new cherry burst standards with the red aniline dye back and sides except a Gibson.com exclusive then it has a plain top. SMH

A matter of taste, I don't like the red back, sides, and neck unless they're faded. I dig the brown back Les Paul's.
