(Gibson) Mesa Triple Rectifier with a fan?

Did any of you notice, that they use a fan now in at least the Triple?
Don't know what to think of that....

They always have on the MW Triple. They claimed it was a requirement of the government safety agency, whatever it is called.
 
That doesn't look like a two channel, this is their reissue?

No it is not a new thing. They have been that way since 2010 when the multi-watt series was released. I have proof sitting right next to me, and mine is a 2011 custom ordered straight from Petaluma. When they redesigned the model for the MW/reborn series the safety agency demanded the fan for the triple, but not the dual.
