Gibson "Rusty" Explorer in progress

Still needs alot of work in the hardware, pickups and a little polishing (to even out the finish in the lower bout) department. The guitar is beat and scratched to hell since I play it hard but I guess that suits it so I will probably leave the finish as is.

I checked a few places but they want more to refinish the guitar in flat/satin black than I paid for it.

Thanks! Still a lot of things to change but I'm not really in a big hurry at the moment. Will do a little at a time.

The Explorer shape is one of the most comfortable for me to play.....just feels right

That’s why I have 3 of them.....but none are Gibsons

2 are WR Customs (William makes a badass guitar) and an ESP MX250.

Yeah, I have a ESP explorer also and have owned many in the past.

This Gibson just holds something special. It is scratched and beat to hell but it plays and sounds amazing.
