Gibson Special SL?

I know you LP guys are familiar with this … we’ll I’m not. ?

Is it worth a damn, or a pass? If it worth’s damn…what $ would you put on it (assuming it’s in perfect working order)

600-800$ would be my range for it, if it's a good player.

Some of them are fantastic, others not so much - which is the rule of thumb with all Gibsons.
 
They were intended to be an entry level LP. Even lower level than a studio. Early models (not sure after 2000) are just a slab body, no carve or curve in the top. I would consider these for a beater guitar but would rather get a Tribute that has the top carve.
