Anybody got a 2015 Gibson with one of these? I've started shopping for an SG and I've noticed in addition to the tuning crap that I would rip off the nuts are funny like on this one. According to this RT comment it seems it is for conveniently adjusting the string height at the nut. I wonder how easily this can be replaced with a more traditional nut. I'd hate to be stuck with this nut material and unable to experiment. Seems likely that at the end of the day, I'll just steer clear of more recent models though.

Look at the 2016 T series (Traditional). They don't have any of that crap on them.

Good call. I knew about the LP Traditionals, but not the SG.
