I've come to a new appreciation for Gilbert. Most often I don't care too much for the super shreddy stuff but he does two things that I really like.

1. He plays great rhythm and writes great riffs.
2. He always seems like he's having the time of his life. There are just too many tortured artists these days.

I have to agree; most of the shredders leave me cold. Very talented and very technical, but no heart, soul or feeling.

PG's an amazing player! He's on my top3 of favorite shredders.

What kind of guitar is that?

That was an Epiphone Coronet but highly modified and repainted etc. Either it was that or it was one of the ones Ibanez built him and Bruce in Racer X, that was modelled after the Coronet but with a Kahler and stuff!

Man that lick where he plays the same note on every string is hilarious :D He has such a cool sense of humour with music and guitar playing!
