I remember being pumped to go out and buy my first cassette with my own money. I was in like 4th grade and came home with Smash by The Offspring.
My mom saw the song “genocide” and didn’t want me listening to them, but after reading the lyrics she gave it back to me lol

That album had a profound impact on me all the way through highschool
