Update:
Hey Zack:
Great speaking with you over the phone this weekend. As I mentioned over the phone, the stainless steel frets were to be installed either by today or tomorrow. So the frets are now in place, and I'll get started on the reapplication of the fretboard satin finish later tomorrow. As such, I'll have that work done by Friday so that while I'm away, Neal Moser's son can finish up the fretwork with the mill and dress. So things are moving right along.

Hi Zach:
Everything is pretty much done. The new stainless steel frets have been installed, milled and dressed, and the new satin on the fingerboard has also been applied. You probably won't be able to tell that the neck has ever been refretted or the new satin applied on the fingerboard. But I wasn't 100% happy with how the polyester on the headstock looked after I went and re-buffed everything. Therefore, I went ahead and sanded up the headstock before applying more polyester. This way, it will look as good as it did when the guitar was first assembled. Thus, I'll sand and buff on Sunday before I re-install the neck and reset up the guitar. It will be ready to ship on Monday. So you can expect to hear from me by phone on Sunday.
Anyway, that's the latest!!!!
