If your are into Lynch go. He was ON Saturday night. Solid 4 hours of music.
Production was excellent.
AON kicked ass. The first 1.1 songs the mix was off. Super loud bass and hardly any guitar. Once the sound guy fixed that it was really good to great the rest of the night. I saw a bit of these guys live a few years ago when they were playing bars locally only still. They were good then. They have turned it up several notches since, especially Jacob Mann (guitar). He was absolutely smoking. They have good catchy songs. Loved their cover of Live Wire too.
XYZ was Terry the original singer with AON backing him. Great set. Terry has a killer, strong voice. He also seemed very gracious and cool. He took the phone out of a front row fan's hand, filmed all the players close up and handed the phone back to the owner. He also brought George's grand daughter on stage and up to the mic. She was probably 3ish. How did I never check out XYZ in the 80's?
Lynch Mob was George and his 3 guys. As previously mentioned, George was definitely on. Great to hear and witness live. Really good set.
George also looked healthy and in great shape. It amazes me what he is doing and doing very well at 69 y o.
Dokken? 4th set was AON backing George, Terry and Brett Carlisle (AON singer). Another great set of Dokken material.
