Going to the coolest gig ever! Opeth/Plankton content.

So in March, a cruise liner is having a 36 hour cruise from Stockholm to Helsinki. The clincher? A concert with 3-4 stages of rock, metal, and prog rock! This is like a dream come true gig. Two of my favorite bands: Opeth and Plankton! Not to mention the other bands playing that all seem awesome. Some bands are old, including Comus who hasn't played since the 70's. Oh and Katatonia. Me and two buddies are most likely going to hang out in Stockholm for a bit and then catch this cruise/gig. From now until March is going to DRAG!

Finally bought my ticket for this event...

I'll be heading to Sweden alone for this one. Can't miss it! Steven Wilson and other musicians are gonna be aboard too. Would be cool to chat with them.


Probably a long shot, but if anyone here is going hit me up. I'll be in Stockholm (never been) for two nights before the event.

If you only knew the plane ticket money I was paying to see some of my favorite bands you would understand that I make some crazy decisions!


Just seems like one of those things I can't miss. Hopefully I can chat with the Plankton guys, Mikael Akerfeldt, and Steven Wilson at some point.

Yeah, you should man. I've been to Ireland and it was really spectacular...If Scotland is similar you would enjoy it for sure. I would like to check out Edinburgh one day.
