A Gojira question: I bought one of their CDs, and the singing is that growling cookie monster stuff (not into it). It sounds like the later stuff is more melodic and singing, which I much prefer. What CD do you recommend???

l enfant sauvage its like an inbeetween the early cookie monster to the more melodic later stuff

The newer records are less cookie monster like on vocals. Also, the newer records are less busy overall on the drums as well. I love all of their stuff but Magma is probably the most stripped down record they have made.
