Deal completed - Amp off the market

For consideration, here is one Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Rev. E.
Revision E has the distinction of the shortest run of all of the revisions, at just over 100 amps produced. This makes it the rarest of the revisions and the least documented.

This is the EXACT one owned and jammed on by Fluff back in some of his early video days. I will post a link to a YouTube video of him even saying the serial. Amp was purchased right from Fluff and hasn’t changed hands but just sat in my personal studio.

This is the best sounding rectifier I have ever had the pleasure of hearing.
I have tried Rev F, G, the multi watt, roadster, stiletto, and badlander. This one just has something very special to it. The mids are so creamy and rich along with a tighter low end and smooth top end.

sweet. is this the one he had modded? I'm sure it's not but thought I would ask.

Sure he has owned a few so I don’t know exactly which mod you are talking about.
This one is exact same one in video posted Has bias mod to it and that’s it.

He has had a couple modded.
One was done by Mesa (I think that was his rev D done to C specs.

One was modded by a tech he knows and the mods were his own, but basically a cleaner less saturated low-end and more cut to the highs.
Not sure if it was a standard rev G, but I think it was.

I’d title as rev E, might get some more clicks than just putting the fluff part. Let me know if it goes for this - I have a chrome face myself. Curious where these are sitting now

All revisions came in all combinations....black on black, chrome/chrome, Chrome/black etc. You can find 3 channel Rectos in black/chrome as well. All you had to do was tell Mesa your preference.
Back in the day Whatever head I had picked out they said I could swap the headshell with another if I wanted. There was a bit of mix and match going on back then.. LOL I am not sure about Petaluma but that was the case in Rockaway anyways.

never heard of Fluff. is this someone i'm supposed to know of? i think he used to be tiger wood's caddy...one guy named fluff.
