Doing a partscaster build, and doing it in steps. Parts acquired here and there, and I've decided the body and some of the parts are going to come from MJT.

Hit em up via email last week to ask a couple questions about fit for a few things....these guys run a full time business refinishing guitars and necks, doing complete builds, they'll refinish set necks etc, have almost 10,000 100% positive feedbacks on eBay, nothing but good stuff from what I've heard.

Matt Jenny hit me back inside of two minutes, answered my questions, suggested a couple things and thanked me for my interest. Then hit me back this morning just to check on how things were going acquiring parts, basically just to chat and see if there was anything else he could do for me.

These guys are no more expensive than the competition, their stuff looks better to me, and the fact that they can get down with CS like this means they get my $. Just wanted it out there.....we all talk shit when customer service is lacking, but I like to let people know when it's really good as well.

Mark and Matt are the real deal and actually give a shit about their customers....and that's always nice to experience.

Added to which, I just grabbed a bunch of little stuff from them today; neck plate, strap buttons, control plate, etc....dude just hit me up to say he saw the order and wanted to let me know that he'd throw them all in the same box and he refunded me the extra shipping eBay had me pay. It's only $15, but still. Damn happy with these guys.

Ah nuts. I was hoping they did modern finish work but it looks like it's just "classic" type finishes.

I've heard from other people that they'll do whatever you want....what were you looking for?

I've got an ESP Alexi CS that I want to have the finish removed from the neck and the binding changed then the body stripped and refinished.
It was already off white when I bought it but it's going aged cream really fast. I'd like to get it painted in what ESP calls Metallic Black Satin with Gloss Black pinstripes and the binding would be Black Pearloid.

I hope for it to look something like this when it's completed.

2 minute response times from any business gets my attention. 2 days tells me you are lazy and not hungry.

That's a nice finish. Inlays are badass too.

Motherucking THIS!

They painted a body for me last year. I asked for no relicing and it came a bit rough. They apparently don't do factory pristine jobs. They offered to repaint it for me, but after sitting with it for a bit, I appreciate it for what it is.
