Sounds great to me as well. Tons of options for the price point. I would never buy boutique, this amp will have no problem competing with the big boys. The name however is very INEvective

It's an inside joke. He named it after one of the guns in Destiny lol.

Just wait for all the djent kiddies to buy them the flip them because they will never sound like Misha. There's so much more to his sound than that amp. I'm predicting $1250 - $1400 shipped/PPd for a used one.

Those Juggernaut pickups are a HUGE factor, massive mid range tuned for what he does. That Jackson guitar is too.

I can't wait to hear that amp with other pickups and guitars...

Definitely ready to see them used :)

But even new at that price with all those features it's a good price. It will sound even better imo without all the excessive mid kerrang.

That does sound good. I wonder what speakers were used.

EDIT: never mind, it's in the video descriptioin

That Creamback seems to really even out the sound, not too scooped.

Sounds like a 5150, which isn't bad thing.

Yeah, idk..All I have is you tube to compare but scoured all the vids I could with the same bedroom playing and idk..The 5150 flavor is there but it sounds different to me. The amp sounds Huge like if you would throw KT88 in a 5150 or something and it's just way more crushing. More open and I guess it is just a heavily modified 5150 with some bells and whistles. The closest sounding video I found was one of Ola's videos of a Stealth. But the Invective still sounds better and more open to my ears than that.

Obviously you can't really know for sure until you get your hands on one and I know the guitar/cab combo is probably better here than the other 5150 vids that I compared but its sounds really really good to me like damn, maybe the best Peavey yet. I am very curious to try one.

Been eyeballing this new amp for a while, i am very very interested in getting one, without trying it first. I know it will be good. I have a thing for anything 5150.......

I would like to play one in person, the 2 loops, ability to power 9 volt pedals, a real actual clean channel, and USA Made seem like a competitor in that price point. I imagine when they finally hit the used market, could be a real deal. I rarely buy new, so I will wait a bit to truly consider one. Just acquired a Deliverance 60, and have a KSR Ares on the way, so some stiff competition.

That's it ? No more news or nothing ?

Some say it can slay home intruders. And when you play one, you piss champagne for a week. But all we know is... it's called Invective!

Half the tone too is the zilla 2x12. Just saying. Those cabs sound deep. I kinda wish he woulda played it with his signature matched cab.

Here he is playing through his sig cab. Amp sounds vicious!

(A lot more talking than playing in this video, but sounds good.)

i heard his 2x12 cab at namm. loaded with v30 and h75.

it was easily as good as or better than the zilla i used to have.

Yeah plus idk...I don't agree with that one post. All cabs are different and there are plenty of good cabs. It's not like the Zilla is some magical cab that makes shitty amps sound amazing and nothing else will sound good.

Yes it would be nice to hear a great demo with the matching can and I'm sure we will but personally I buy amps for the amp and don't typically buy new or even buy a matching cab when I do buy new.

Same here. I never buy the matching cab. For me, if it can't sound good with either a Mesa or a Bogner cab, then I'm not interested haha. Those two are pretty much gold standards by this point.
