but really theres no way i could possibly swing one realistically one of those amps cost more than the vehicle i drive. even the powerball i have plans to save up for will have to incorporate scott's dumpster-diving skills and ALOT of luck.

If I hear a clip that sounds like that, I would do it. We have the best mod-scientist's on the planet here, they all do killer work, for some reason, Daves Marshall just gets closer to what I would consider perfect high-gain tone than anything else I have heard. I dont know what the recording chain was (I would like to, Dave??) but if it is a goofy camcorder mike, and sounds that good, I know it would make me cry to hear it in person. There are quite a few incredible sounding Marshalls on this forum, but Dave's is the Holy Grail

I really think you should stay away from the Powerball. It's really not as tonally good as a Fireball or Savage, and if you ever plan to record it, it does NOT sound great under a microphone.

On topic, that Cameron Modded Marshall sounds fuckin' nuts!

Sounds badass. Reminds me of Accept's tone on Balls To The Wall. Camerons are amazing hard rock machines. I played Kurt's CCV and it's one of the best high gain amps I have played. Notes just jump off the fretboard, it's so easy to play. Too bad there are, what, only 4 or 5 CCVs in existence?
