It’s really a commercial with Tom Anderson switching to D’Addario strings, but cool listening to Tom tell his story a little bit like how he got into building guitars and why he left Schector.
Worth the watch and only talks about strings a little.

Also interesting talk of the future of TA Guitars with the guy who will take over for Tom one day.

I have 2 of his guitars, and they’re some of the best in the business.

I bought my ‘ 99 TA Hollow Drop Top Classic new.

I wasn’t aware gigging heavily back then, and from ‘99-‘09 until I retired from gigging, I had my volume pot have serious problems 3 different times.

Each of those times I contacted TA with the intention of purchasing the new pots from them , in case they were different pots that were best for my guitar

All 3 times , TA sent me the volume pots free of charge, and paid the shipping.

They are on the best guitar companies for customer service.

TA is a great guy who makes killer guitars. I called their main line years ago to discuss a build option and was shocked that the guy who picked up was Tom.

that was great. Thank you for posting. Would love to support Anderson, but too much $ for my hobby

Yes they are pricey these days just like a lot of things are.

I bought mine back when I was making good money gigging in ‘99, and my TA Hollow Drop Classic cost me $2100 delivered.

Used the inflation calculator, and it wou cost me about $4300 today, and there’s no way I’d throw down that much now.

I did get lucky scoring my ‘03 TA Hollow T Drop Top HSH in a pawnshop about 7 years ago for $1200, which was a steal.

Lucky to have these 2 TA’s in my collection.
