Good refret person?

Bought the EJ from Ratter, which he de-lacquered the neck on. So, I'm not real worried now about having bigger frets put in. :) Anybody have recommendations? Obviously I'm willing to ship the neck or guitar. Would prefer stainless. I have considered doing it locally and then having the guitar plek'd, but would rather do a one step process, and I figure taking a guitar with stainless frets into a plek shop would get me shot on sight.

:lol: :LOL: You're no better than those guys who have the mod planned before they get the amp! :lol: :LOL: ;)

My own personal pick would be a guy in Baltimore named Phil Jacoby. He's a freakin' wizard and he's got a plek machine. Life was easier when I lived nearby. But I still would probably ship a guitar to him before trying to find anybody close who can compare (because they probably wouldn't.)
 
there's a Plek machine in Norman. no idea what all they do though?

They just did my buddy's vintage jazz bass. That's where myself and my friends go for all our repairs, excellent work, fast turnaround. :thumbsup:

Suhr guitars offers refretting and PLEKing for a fairly reasonable price. Here in Nashville, Joe Glasier is the go to guy. He's not cheap, but his work is second to none.
