It is truly abysmal. Youtube search is somehow even worse now, even though it's part of google and probably uses the same stuff.
I use Duckfuckgo but it's not that great either.

Yeah none of them are good anymore. Totally neutered them all. The new brave search sucks too. As for YouTube, I generally get better results with a regular search engine and add “YouTube”
