I received this a couple of weeks ago from Rob at TM.
Thanks, man!!

I've bought n sold a lot of Marshally amps the past 5 years.
This one is badass.

Here's a quick clip, 80s hard rock sounding.
It's only been a hobby for years, now. Something to keep me sane or wind down after work.
I made a promise to myself to not buy another amp for 2014 if I got the BE, so maybe I'll work on my playing, instead of buying gear... :)

Sounds killer man! I've been using the G12H30/V30 combo for a couple of months and loving it.

What pickup are you using?

Sounds good man!
Had a few Friedman mods....but never the New BE.
Good stuff!

Thanks!
The new BE is the right combo of features that got me to finally justify the price.
I've been wanting this amp for years thanks to the Pete Thorn demo and Lugo's first amp shootout.

What cab are you using? I've been thinking bout picking up the Friedman cab, or a Marshall style cab and plugging in the same speaker combo.

It's a mid 90's Marshall AX cab. One of the ones that came with GB speakers stock. Killer cab. Just a PITA truckin' it up and down four flights of stairs for practice.

Killer cab. I wish I could find a used one. I would pop the Mesa V30s from the Recto 2x12 in the bottom. After trying it in stock form. I've looked at the Friedman cab, a Mathers cab, Mojotone...
I'm thinking a 4x12 would be great with this amp. Luckily, I won't ever have to tote it 4 flights of stairs. That's crazy.

Apartment living sucks where I'm at now. Once I move to FL this Summer, I'll be on the first floor at my new place. I won't be practicing/gigging then though.

You don't have to be gigging to enjoy the sound of the Friedman and 4x12!

Yeah, to some folks our rigs are great for being bedroom/basement warriors.

Thanks! It's a killer amp.

I was messing around with the gain set to half, no switches on. That's an awesome setting for classic hard rock.

The amp is a Swiss Army knife. I usually keep the voice switch on and the gain at 7. SAT is fun on BE for 80's metal but with the gained rolled back, it gives a nice compression for boosted hard rockesque tones. C45 scoops a little of the mids out and boosts everything else.

Killer, killer amp. But you've probably figured all of this out.

I've kinda settled on the setting as well. Gain at 7 is where the beef starts to kick in, but it's still polite enough to get some tasty tones with guitar volume rolled back, and takes a boost great for heavier tones.

I read somewhere that there was going to be an official video showing the lower gain, plexi side of the amp. Anyone know anything bout that?

We will have a series of videos soon with all the amps. Hang on it is going to take a bit of time.
