Got a Bogner Red today.

I tried the all three with a LP & Twin .... I liked the red pedal best. I also feel it sounds best with a clean amp.

Not directly but I've owned and gigged extensively two Riots and now own the Bogner Red. IMO, the Bogner blows it out of the water, and the Riot is a very good sounding pedal. The Bogner just sounds more 'real' and feels better under the fingers to me.

Can one of you guys with this red one make a clip with the gain maxed out? I'd like to hear how saturated it can get compared to the blue.

I like high gain, but everyone says the black pedal isn't as cool as the blue and red.

Don't bother with the blue pedal...the red pedal blows it out of the water! The red pedal sounds more like the Ecstasy amp blue channel with extended gain depending on what modes your in. The red pedal has none of the common compression complaints of the Ecstasy amp red channel. Buy two red pedals and set one as a 100B 'blue' tone (boost off), and the other as a 20th 'red'.

All of them sound better through a good clean amp like Fender or VOX. A Vox AC15/AC30 will give you the more desirable power-tube compression that you can't get from a Fender. Even-order harmonics from a cranked VOX AC30 + a Bogner red is a religious experience!

I'm using only one red pedal. I have both the red and blue now, but I'm sending the blue back in exchange for another red.

I don't know how it would sound through a Blackstar? I can't imagine it sounding bad.
