It's like corporate jobs, especially food service, intentionally design uniforms to degrade and dehumanize their employees. That has pissed me off for years. I worked at k-mart a long time ago. I managed to go six months without wearing the gay red vest cause I was a cart attendant and was outside in the cold wandering the mall parking lot. "Where is your uniform?" "Under my jacket it's cold out there".
