Got a shipment of the new EL34BG

Im facing time to retube the VH4 power plant. Last gig I already hit one red light (tube fault). I have gone through very many different power amp tubes and I could try something new again.

So, are these Ruby EL34BeeGees available in Europe?

You have to post the results of the EL34BG in the VH4. I am so curious, but currently can't by them :(
 
I got reply from Peter S. and everything should be OK. Now we will just wait for the tubes to arrive from the distant land.

I will gladly post my findings on these tubes, but Im pretty sure that our beloved "Chief Executive of Tone" has already made strong testing on these.
 
I like the mids and overall sound of these tubes, but I had two of them crap out on me after fairly few hours. It seems my VH4 has an appetite for power tubes. :D Do you guys know where I can order more of these tubes? Are they still the recommended tubes for VH4?
 
Maybe I'll comment here as well so not to cause any confusion with my above posts.

I never got the BeeGees as there was serious delivery issues from the suppliers side. Instead Peter sent me a set of KT77s which apparently are the current choice of him.
 
If you prefer to get the BGs you can buy them from Jens Kruse in Los Angeles. He installed several sets in my amps and no issues with quality. They also sound fantastic in Marshalls.
 
No thanks as they would need to be shipped overseas. I was just curious to test them as it was time to do some retubing. Thanks for the info though.
