I saw one a while back at a local shop, don't recall the model but it was Japanese import, HSS config with ash body and binding. Thing sold for $1K, they had 2 at the time, a blue and a cherry red, and I didn't pick up either.

They had one at my local GC the other day for under $500....I hemmed and hawed and by the time I made it back that afternoon it was gone. Que sera sera.

Thanks man! I was noodling around on the 3XXV just now. I swapped out the stock bridge D-Activator in favor of a EVH Frankenstein pup a few months ago, I'm liking the vibe of it more even if it doesn't coil split.

Davas are great picks, the grip is so useful for my dry hands. I'm back to the red Jazz Grips as I'm finding the yellows are too soft during the warmer months.
