the guitar is amazing, it easily hangs with the custom charvels I have had, quite similar actually. the neck feels great, super fast, feels like you know the neck right off the bat, no getting used to time, very rare for me. all around its great. the only thing I would change is the pick ups, it has MCP Black Irons. they sound pretty good, but they feel odd to me, the only way I could possibly describe it is that the feel does not match what I am hearing. the pick ups have a little give to them. I like low to mid output pups and these are a little hot for me. anyone want to buy or trade for the black irons? other than the pick ups which is very minor, the guitar kicks SERIOUS ass! truly amazing!! I feel bad for suhrimmetal having to sell it because he lost his job. he was great to deal with, great transaction!!

When I got my Luxxtone I had the MCP Hot heads and I didnt like what I was hearing from them either. I tried a few different MCP and they are just not what I like. I had a Suhr Aldrich set put in mine and it rips.

Glad you dig Mike.. and glad she arrived safely The black irons are definitely a hot pickup and really cut live.. which I liked a lot. Maybe give the BKP Rebel Yells..... or some of the other WCR pickups a look. I personally love WCR pickups and have a Godwood and Darkburst in my LP.. tho the Godwood would probably be to hot for you as well... The Crossroads or something else may work.
