Yeah so damn POWERFUL is how I describe them.
World wide live.....one of my all time faves!!!
What were/are they using for amps?

Saw them in Montreal , the energy level from those guys is incredible .
Amazing show

Jabs I think is using his Mastertone 60 and 100 watt heads
Rudolph .I heard Engl

Blackout and Love at first sting .look like JCM800

In the past, Schenker primarily played Marshall amps, using their JMP, JCM800 2203, and JCM800 2205 heads. Currently, he uses Engl amps, endorsing the E 650 Ritchie Blackmore signature heads.
[edit]

Jabs:Jabs replaces the Marshall amplification logo on his amplifier cabinets with his own name, in the same font style as the Marshall logo. Besides Marshall, Matthias also uses Wizard cabinets, Hiwatt, Engl, Fender Prosonic and Soldano amplifiers and cabinets, Kitty Hawk preamps, Dunlop picks, and Seymour Duncan JB pickups. Back in the 1980's, he used marshall JCM 800 2210 amplifiers

Blackout is also my fav!!! The whole album kicks ass from start to finish!!! Love At First String is right behind it!!!

+1,000,000  love 'em!

Paul, there used to be a great scorps tribute band in chicago about 4 years ago.seen them about 5 times.they were southsiders.unfortunately, the band was only around for like 2 years or so,but man they did a great job and their singer sounded just like klaus meine  ..there's also a couple good UFO tribute bands in chicago that i've seen before.Force It,Lights Out and Rock Bottom are the 3 that i know of and have seen....good 'chit, mang!!!

One of the all-time great bands. Mathias is grossly underrated as a player IMO...the guy plays some of the catchiest solos I've ever heard and has chops for days. Rudy is a rhythm machine and a capable soloist as well.

I saw them back in early July and it was an absolutely fantastic show. They really are crowd pleasers, no question. A great live act!

There in my top 5 of all time favorite bands. Love the Uli stuff and Jabs stuff equally. Amazing progressive hard rock band and amazing arena/pop hard rock band. Love how they got super catchy but it still rocked hard. What can you say about Klaus Meine. As important a rock vocalist as Halford and Dickinson. Was just rockin' Vrgin Killer pretty loud yesterday...

They have maybe, the best guitar tone in hard rock. At least from 75-82.

Gotta be nice to have a tech working the wah pedal for you

Lovedrive. My drummer and bass player are in that band. They are back out playing now but just got another singer. I have no idea how he sounds.

Also the drummer was also a singer in a UFO tribute which I beleive was Force It.

Weird...

"mathais-perfect cross between michael schenker and evh"

rudolph schenker

I've seen them several times, and they always put on a great show! I prefer the older stuff with Uli though. He was way ahead of his time imo.

Love the Scorps, I practically wore out Blackout, Love at First Sting and World Wide Live.

Have to agree with Rupe that Jabs is one of the most underrated lead players. I love his tone and fiery bluesy style!
