Our dog would never go in the pool. He would go in the ocean at any chance he got though! It probably had to do with the gradual slope into the ocean that was easier to tackle than the pool steps on the way out.

My Golden retrievers love to swim so much we have to limit the time they spend outside so we don't spend all day drying them off to come back in lol. They truly are water dogs!
