This is AI ... This is how close it's getting and in fact if I heard this on the radio/Sirius XM I wonder if many could actually be able to tell the difference?

I had to google it to see what was up and here's what a quick search resulted with.

AI Overview

Yes, Gravel Voltage is an AI-generated band
. The project is part of a wave of AI-created music, often releasing heavily produced rock, metal, or country content. The songs and imagery are fully produced using artificial intelligence tools, appearing under various "Gravel" named projects on streaming platforms.

Sirius/XM radio "metal" is already completely computerized schlock, and has been for 20 years - that's why it's impossible to tell the difference for most people.

The easiest "tell" for the fact that this is AI is the completely unnatural melody, rhythm and cadence for the vocals. This would be impossible for anyone to sing like that, and anyone who's sung before could tell you that immediately.

You think it wont get better? It's already moving at such a fast pace with all this AI stuff and as I said before I find it very troubling myself.

It's going to get much, much, much worse

There are always going to be little pockets of "real music" out there, but it's going to disappear out of the mainstream and what people listen to day to day

So A.I. can pretty much clone auto tuned, pitch corrected, sterilized and quantized to death modern music? All those digital manipulation methods were essentially a more labour intensive form of A.I. anyway.

There are absolutely no clams or human touches on the guitar playing, it is far too perfect and and you don't hear the same dynamics on the pulloffs and hammerons. I have to admit the vocals are almost harder to discern from the guitar playing. The drums are also too perfect.

It is like the AI was trained on Steve Vai's playing for this video.

yes, but that's what all "modern metal" guitar and drums sound like these days - even if it is technically a real track or person playing, it's quantized to the grid and scrubbed to perfection within an inch of it's life
