Yeah, that's like the , "i need some crack" , price, lol.
 
For that head in good condition , it should be at least 800$. The cab is probably worth 450$ with those speakers.
 
I miss the SF craigslist. The NoVA craigslist is awful.

Agreed. It seems like the only thing we get are ads for high school jazz band equipment.

It's bad for sellers too because it seems like the market just doesn't know what to do with high end gear. I tried to sell a Soldano SLO rack when I first moved here and didn't want to ship it. Found a buyer here, luckily. But man Craigslist was a disaster for that. I expect to be low balled, but it's helpful when the low ballers actually understand what they're doing.
 
It was listed 5 days ago I'd be surprised if it wasn't snatched up already but I've got my fingers crossed

I always get the lowballers, or the guys that are offering me 46 Fender Squier Strats and a Line 6 Spider combo for whatever high end piece of gear of selling. Then there's a guy from Richmond that seems to contact me about anything I try to sell every single time acting like it's his Grail and saying he'll drive up immediately to pick it up. I won't mention names, but he's a fun one.
 
Before I was on RT I had been buying/selling gear on ebay for a few yrs...I came across some deals from time to time but the one I missed out on was an AFD head with all original paperwork, COA etc for 800. Got in touch but he said it was gone in 10 minutes.

Guy that bought it put it up the next day for 2200. Lol
 
Still waiting to hear back from the seller , it's only a 40 min drive for me to get this beast
 
Good luck man. I would be on it in a second if it was local. The only stuff on my local Craigslist is total garbage. I don't bother listing there because I don't need the headache. Heck you can't sell anything unless you give it away anyway.
 
There's a local pick up-only JCM 2000 DSL 100w head on eBay for $400 BIN and I'm nearby, visiting my folks. But seller has 0 feedback and next to no description.
 
Yeah, that would be a decent score, as long as the guts are still original! I'm not a huge fan of the 50 watters, and I would go get that thing if I was within a hour's drive!

My local Craigslist has sucked for months now. I've looked for everything from cabs to heads, and all sorts of guitars, and I've found nothing reasonable.
 
-oh shit, I was thinking it was a 65 split window CORVETTE STINGRAY, with 427 option.. Mint condition, only one thing, dude died in it, can't get the smell out, the last potential buyer took it for a test drive, found her 3 days later, overdosed on SPAMISH FLY, found her impaled, on the 8-ball stick shift.

-I'm willing to bet, Craigslist where I am I the mutha, no, the queen mutha of all shitty Craigslist's in the lower 48!!
