The point is simple. If the US decides to militarily invade Greenland, they will have to kill soldiers from all these countries which have been US allies for decades.
Moving the US even further into pariah state status.

OK, I guess the shit I've been missing is that for the past 15 years or so, China has been very actively trying to establish military bases there, along with heavy investment in mining/oil, at the same time, the EU has been actively denying Western (more private) interests from doing the same. They have denied mining/oil for Western corps (under muh environment) but allowed some ingress of Chinese ones. I suppose this is basically the EU thinking they can use this as a method of pressure on the US.
So basically, the US has been handling 90% of defense of Europe for the past 70 years, and their thanks is to sell out to China at the first possible moment (sort of). Democrats in the US have gone along with this because they are personally benefiting from this global reshuffling of who is team US and who is team China. There are still elements within EU that are more pro-US, the government of Greenland is HEAVILY in the Chinese camp, EU doesn't have that much control of Greenland because they left the precursor of the EU in 1982.

He wants to have a strategic interest there that would benifit us, canada and Europe also. China knows the strategic importance of Greenland and is trying desperately to make inroads into it by trying to get in with Greenland's European counterparts to have an edge on us while the trump hating euro globalists still have some strings to pull in their favor. Their hatred of Trump blinds them to the fact that an Iron Dome system (the most advanced version we have ever built)
would make the entire planet a safer place due to the fact that it’s positioned in the best possible place to keep the largest portion of all involved safe against the Russians and the Chinese.
As usual, Trump says something that makes their heads explode due to their own biases,
and his own inflated ego, then they later see it would in fact be much better for all of them to give him what he wants.
They talk like he’s so dumb and they are so much smarter than him and will never give him what he wants…
But I bet they will before this is over.
They will be forced to pick which side they want to be tied to, and while they have made some dumb statements lately, they are probably not dumb enough to think they would be better off with the Chinese or the Russians than the US.

We give Greenland or Denmark money too for the rights or whatever makes sense you know or whatever the fuck..... The point is getting rights to the natural resources I figure. Who cares about the cave itself..... What matters is the gold/money in the cave ......



As long as America gets the oil, rare earth metals, gas and other natural resources and also as a part of the deal Russia and China can't do any business there unless the US agrees to it or at all...... Its only common sense especially as the Russians and Chinese bomb Ukraine/Europe and we provide them with cash and weapons for defense.....


At the end of the day it's just common sense however it gets done



Pretty much we are at the front of the line and we decide who goes in and gets resources or not.
