I got the first version in high school back in the mid 90s, 1997 maybe? At the time it was a fresh top contender in the not-so-crowded class of very compact and very affordable multi-FX. Great for a kid. It does have some wildly processed clean sounds I used straight to tape for years afterward, though, sort of how you would use a Rockman.

Haha nice!! I also had the original 505; I think it was the first pedal I ever bought. I was like 13 years old at the time. It was fun!
