i cant find any information on these. i know where one is for sale, but no solid clips out there to know what it sounds like. no good reviews, no website summaries, its like its been on the DL for all of these years

any information anyone can give?

I has one for a while back in the 90's. It was a cool pre, sounded good, felt good. Even though it had three channels, it was geared more toward rootsier styles and classic rock...at its most extreme it dished out cranked Tweed/Marshall-like tone. The clean stayed clean (think blackface Twin) and the second channel had a Stones/Faces/Black Crowes type vibe.
The third channel could do AC/DC or VH but you had nowhere to go from there if you wanted more gain for a solo.

I never boosted it so I'm not sure how it would sound in that scenario...pretty good I would guess, especially with a good power amp (I used a Mesa 2:90).

If you pass on it could you let me know? I had one years ago and liked it and I've been thinking of trying the rack thing again...

yeah does not sound like what i am looking for, i dispise ac/dc and i know i could cop the VH tone easily with a metroamp kit and a few modifications and also my 5150 crunch channel.

thanks for the info :)

you need a Baron ..lol

its what im saving for. ive decided a B60 or B120 is right up my alley. would let me get the marshallesque type overdriven pissed off tones very well, but also give me that 80's vibe, and i love how it has the extacy bogner type of tone going on as well. very 80's and sounds better than the engl stuff i have heard too.

it is like a mix of it all. i believe it would be the perfect compliment to my proto model amplifier and my 5150 II

yeah they are great i have the Mseries ..but ordered the B60 as i dig it more Marshally vibe..
The build quality is amazing ..it real is a work of art .the footswitchable options are also incredible.
I highly recommend them ..if you have any questions fire away
