I saw that on one of the live show vids on youtube. Watching some of the other live shows via youtube, they have dual 6505s on stage and others a Recto and 5150, but I'm wondering what they actually recorded the Savage Lands album with in the studio.

According to the article, old Marshall amps. I assume boosted.

Just get an old Marshall valvestate. Tubes are a waste of time and money for super high gain crap.

My gut was telling me Marshall. There is something so raw and brutal in the tones of this album. I've had it for about a month and can't stop listening to it. I hope these guys continue making new music. I'd love to see them live
