Hi everyone, Mattfig here! Episode 2 of Guess the Amp is up: Hot-Rodded British. Thanks to everyone who played along with the first episode.
This round has four real amps: Marshall 2555X, Friedman JEL-50, Bogner Snorkler 50 and Friedman JOSE 100. That list is NOT the listening order.
The same DI performance by Ally Lee goes through each amp, with matched playback loudness. Big thanks to Ally for the riff!
All four run through a De Lisle switcher into the same Sunn 4×12 in another room, loaded with DV77s and Greenbacks in an X pattern. Shared effects come from a TC Electronic Plethora X5.
