I'm re-arranging and clearing out my recording room (as you can see the mess in the video) so I started experimenting with a piece of hardware I had laying around. I took this quick and dirty video and played a few cheesy licks just so to give an idea of what kind of tone I was getting.
The setup is a Warmoth Black Korina Superstrat with a Quilt Maple top, Canary neck and Ebony fretboard. The pickups are Rio Grande BBQ in the bridge and Texas in the neck. It is plugged into the mystery preamp which is plugged into the Mesa 20/20 Dyna-Watt power amp driving a Mesa 2x12 cabinet.

Please excuse the messy room, the Captain Kirk choppy dialog (didn't even realize it until I played it back) and the cheesy noodling.
