Guitar Cable recommendations

Thanks everyone! I actually decided to go with Mogami Gold pre-made cables.

Tweed had sent me a link to the same site that Yeti posted and after reviewing the video, I calculated that it would cost me about $41.85 to make my own cable with Mogami 2524 wire.
Just on a whim, I went to GC today at lunch and they had Mogami Gold pre-made cables and with my GC discount, I was able to get the premade cables for a little more then what it would cost me to make them myself. I figured that Id get them instead and of course I would not have the hassle of building it myself or Having to Bother Ancient Alien to do it for me lol

Another reason why I went with the premade cables is because I really do not have the time to wait for a cable to get shipped to me as I Literally have no decent cable left and I have some rehearsals comming up.

Oh and moltenmetalburn, I really dig those Gold cables and I might pick up a few of those for spares and Olaf/Kage,anolin,fear I'll look into the cables you recommended to! The colossal cables are out of my $$$ Range right now!

Talk to Mark at Lava Cable Bro!!! I love his cables and they dont come close to breaking the bank. Great quality connectors and cable with great customer service from a great guy...

Or theres the George Ls route and that dont suck the knot either..

Well done Bro!! Mark Stoddard also claims 'lowest capacitance' compared to the competition... So all in all, price is right, sound has got to be right, seems like a no brainer, no??

i've got about every deferent one of the GC/MF cables that carry a lifetime waranty. ain't a nickles worth of deference in sound, and can walk in to a GC and get a new cable if they crap out.


about all i've noticed is the DiMarzio cloth wrapped ones seem to stay cleaner looking.
